We have three camping Fields here at Nettwood…

Woodland Field

Our smallest field, Woodland Field sits right beside the trees — It features six structured electric hook-ups, plus additional space for non-electric camping units.

Wake up to the sounds of nature and, if you’re lucky, spot deer, rabbits, owls, and a variety of birds exploring the nearby woodland.

Facilities include a modern, well maintained toilet/shower block with both indoor and outdoor washing-up areas, a hair dryer, and a summer house complete with a fridge/freezer and local information to help you plan your adventures.

For families, there’s plenty to keep little ones entertained — a wooden climbing frame with a tower, slide, swing and climbing wall, plus a woodland and den-building area. Both are located within this field tucked into the woods but easily accessible from anywhere on site.

Lake View Field

As it’s name suggests, Lake View offers breathtaking panoramic views over Chew Valley Lake, Bristol, Bath, and beyond. It’s our largest field — spacious, scenic, on a slight slope but plenty of flat areas to be found.

There are four electric hook-ups, thoughtfully arranged around a central post, giving you the freedom to arrange yourselves how you would like and make the most of the stunning vistas.

There’s also plenty of open space for standard, non-electric camping — so you can find your perfect spot and settle in.

Facilities include a well-maintained toilet block and a heated shower block with additional WCs, ideal for families.

You’ll also find four washing-up stations and a shared fridge/freezer for your convenience.

For our younger guests, a wooden playhouse and small climbing tower with a slide sit in the far corner of the field.

We take pride in caring for our environment — General waste and recycling bins for cardboard, cans, plastics, and glass are located in a fenced area in the corner of the field. Please help us keep the site beautiful by recycling wherever possible.

You’ll also find our undercover storage shed near the field entrance, where fire pits are kept for guest use.

Please remember to bring your own wood, as we no longer supply or sell firewood on-site.

Upper Lake View Field

Our third field sits just above Lake View Field again enjoying the same views over the valley.

A spacious non electric, non structured field with no play area making it perfect for couples, older families or campers who prefer to be a little out of it but still within easy access to Lake View facilities.

Our Valley View capsules are situated in this field so perfect if you have family or friends staying in the capsules and wish to camp near them.

Perched just above Lake View Field, our Upper Lake View Field enjoys the same stunning views across the valley and offers plenty of open space.

This non-electric, unstructured field offers a relaxed camping experience. With no play area, it’s a favourite choice for couples, older families, or those who simply prefer to be a little out of it while still being within easy reach of Lake View’s facilities and play area.

Our Valley View Capsules are also located here, making this field ideal if you have friends or family staying in them and wish to camp near.
